It is quite a long time from the last time I updated the blog. Ngehehe. Syukur, Iman is now 9 months and 12 days young, and still fully breastfeed from her mommy. Alhamdulillah. Mungkin ramai ibu -ibu yang di luar sana rasa saya ni mengada nak update susu sampai begini sekali…berlagak tunjuk susu banyak-banyak. Eleh, semua orang menyusukan anak kot? Takdalah nak tunjuk bagai stok bersusun-susun dalam freezer. Kenapa Mama Iman nak menunjuk-nunjuk pulak?
Ok, siapa golongan ibu-ibu yang biasanya dapat menyusukan anaknya secara penuh? Saya akui, kebanyakan cikgu yang bekerja separuh hari, memang insyaAllah akan dapat menyusukan anak mereka. Suri rumah apatah lagi. Nikmat bagi mereka dapat menyusukan anak secara penuh. Tetapi bagaimana pula dengan ibu bekerja yang mempunyai jadual kerja 8 jam sehari? Bertolak dari rumah pukul 730 pagi, dan petang pulang sampai ke rumah jam 630ptg? 10 jam tanpa menyusukan anak? Agak-agak apa yang akan terjadi pada susu?
Susu akan mengering. Ya! Kenapa? Sebab there will be no “demand and supply” concept here. No baby suckling, without any effort of pumping out the milk, your milk supply will drop. Honest, only pumping mothers know all the difficulties and challenges of exclusive breastfeeding. So, its not about showing off the stock that we have, but its about giving inspiration to other mothers, to encourage them to give the best for their babies.
I am planning to have a deep freezer once I move out to my own house, probably before Aidilfitri 2011, InsyaAllah (can’t wait!). Some people said that my electricity bill will burst if I had the deep freezer. Do I care????? I am the one who will pay the bill. I rather have a deep freezer for my child’s breastmilk, rather than having an air-conditioner! Even, I will cut the budget for the television just for the deep freezer, reflecting how mush it really meant for me! It is something compulsory, not only for the milk, but also for Iman’s solid food since I love to cook for her, and my family. Well, yeay..only pumping mothers can understand the dilemma faced by me. Sigh..
Okla, stop complaining…here the fresh milk of the day. Ngee…
